Fuller Center celebrated an extraordinary milestone as its nearly 100 Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) graduates crossed the stage, prepared for their next big adventure: kindergarten! Held at The Studio at Mizner Park, the graduation ceremonies for Fuller Center’s East and West Campus students brought together proud families, dedicated teachers, staff, and community supporters to recognize each child’s growth, accomplishments, and bright future.
From the moment the ceremonies began, excitement filled the room. Families watched with pride as graduates entered in their caps and gowns, greeted by enthusiastic applause and the smiling faces of their loved ones. Students delighted audience members with multilingual greetings, heartfelt poems, and spirited songs that reflected the knowledge, creativity, and self-confidence they developed at Fuller Center. Through engaging lessons, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful relationships with teachers and peers, these young learners built a strong foundation that will support them through their educational journey.
While the graduates’ individual accomplishments were reason enough to celebrate, this year’s ceremonies also marked a remarkable organizational achievement. For the second consecutive year, 100% of Fuller Center’s VPK students achieved kindergarten–readiness, an accomplishment that reflects the organization’s unwavering commitment to high-quality early childhood education, offered affordably and reliably to hardworking families. Only 72% of other Florida VPK students tested kindergarten-ready. For all students, the state average is even lower, with only 44% testing kindergarten-ready.
“Kindergarten-readiness is one of the strongest indicators of future academic success, which makes this achievement especially meaningful,” said Eric Roby, Chief Executive Officer of Fuller Center. “Seeing 100% of our VPK graduates prepared for this next step reflects the dedication of our teachers, the partnership of our families, and the potential within every child we serve. We are incredibly proud of these students and excited to watch them continue to grow and thrive.”
Throughout the ceremonies, speakers recognized the critical role families play in a child’s early education. Parents and guardians were applauded for their support, encouragement, and involvement throughout the year. Whether reading together at home, attending school events, or reinforcing classroom learning, families have been essential partners in helping students reach this important milestone.
Educators were also recognized for the care, patience, and expertise they bring to the classroom every day. Fuller Center teachers create nurturing environments where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, build friendships, and develop a love of learning. Their dedication helps ensure that every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
For many families, graduation was an emotional moment that marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Students who entered VPK as curious young learners are now leaving with greater independence, stronger communication skills, and the confidence to take on new challenges. As they accepted their diplomas and posed for photos with friends, teachers, and loved ones, the significance of the occasion was evident throughout the room.

The ceremonies served as a joyful culmination of a year filled with learning, discovery, and development, as students proudly showcased the skills and confidence they gained through their VPK experience.
