Fuller Center Brings Community Together at Family Fun Day

The Fuller Center welcomed families from across the community to its Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 18, at the organization’s West Campus for a day of connection, entertainment, and learning.

Approximately 200 guests attended the celebration, which offered various activities and opportunities for children and parents. The festive atmosphere included a live DJ, complimentary barbecue, and freshly made treats, such as cotton candy and popcorn. Children enjoyed a bounce house and a variety of interactive activities, while parents had the opportunity to connect with staff and learn more about the Fuller Center’s programs and services.

Beyond the entertainment, Community Fun Day served a meaningful purpose: strengthening community ties while families were able to explore various enrollment opportunities across the comprehensive continuum of services that Fuller Center offers, including:

  • Infant and Preschool Programs
  • Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK)
  • Fuller Academy, the organization’s Private Choice School (Kindergarten–4th Grade), now enrolling for the upcoming school year
  • Out-of-School Time Programs
  • Summer Camp
  • Teen Leadership Program

Scholarships are available across all programs, ensuring access to high-quality education for families from a wide range of income levels.

“At the Fuller Center, our mission is to embrace, educate and empower hardworking, under resourced families and children to achieve their full potential,” said Eric Roby, CEO of the Fuller Center. “We are committed to delivering exceptional childcare and educational programs that are both high-quality and accessible. Through income‑based tuition and comprehensive scholarship opportunities across all our programs, we remove financial barriers and walk alongside families—ensuring every child can thrive.”

Enrollment for the upcoming school year is currently open; however, space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

To further support working families, the Fuller Center offers bus transportation for:

  • Out-of-School Time Programs, serving 10 local schools
  • Fuller Academy, with transportation provided from the East Campus to the West Campus

Families were encouraged to apply for upcoming opportunities, including Summer Camp and enrollment for Early Childhood Education Programs and Fuller Academy 2026–27 school year.

Family Fun Day reflected the Fuller Center’s ongoing commitment to strengthening families, fostering community connections, and ensuring every child has access to high-quality education and enrichment opportunities—regardless of income. Families interested in enrolling are encouraged to apply early to secure placement.
