Fuller Center Opens Wellness Room at West Campus
Between drop-off goodbyes and work schedules, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
At Fuller Center, we understand. That’s why we’re excited to announce our innovative Wellness Room, a dedicated space designed to ease back-to-school anxieties and provide much-needed moments of calm for our families attending the Fuller Center West Campus and Fuller Academy, a non-profit private choice elementary school educating K-5th grades.
This haven offers a variety of features for parents, including:
-
- Vibroacoustic Therapy: developed by Dr. Yaron Seidman. This therapeutic technique utilizes the power of sound vibrations and tactile sensations to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. By incorporating low-frequency vibrations and acoustic stimulation, the body’s natural healing processes are engaged, delivering a multitude of health benefits. This technology helps people reset their minds and expedites the benefits of meditation.
-
- High-Tech Guided Meditation Equipment– This technology helps to expedite the proven benefits of meditation even for those that have never meditated before.
-
- Ongoing Wellness Lectures: on such topics as yoga, pilates and mindfulness.
While their child enjoys their new classroom environment, parents can take a moment to recharge and feel confident knowing their children are in great hands.
This type of cutting edge wellness provides parents with the type of preventative care that could help avoid costly medical conditions in the future. A normal sound therapy session at your typical wellness center will run $100 an hour and right now the Fuller Center Wellness Room is open to all parents, staff, volunteers and mentors of Fuller Center for free with plans in the near future to start a program for students attending Fuller Center East.
Founding for this project was provided by Quantum Foundation with additional support from Anda Foundation and The American Heart Association.
