On February 27, The Fuller Center officially launched a year-long celebration marking its 55th anniversary with a special birthday gratitude event at The Addison in Boca Raton. The celebration brought together community leaders, supporters, donors, and partners to recognize the organization’s decades of impact serving children and families across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
The event highlighted Fuller Center’s growth since its founding in 1971, evolving into one of
South Florida’s most trusted nonprofits and a statewide leader in early childhood education and family empowerment services. Today, the organization supports more than 1,100 children and over 700 families each year through early childhood education, private elementary education at Fuller Academy, afterschool and summer programs, teen leadership development, and comprehensive family support services.
“For 55 years, Fuller Center has been a place where children are supported, families find
stability, and futures are built,” said CEO Eric Roby. “As we celebrate this milestone, we are
also sharing our gratitude for the volunteers, mentors, donors, funders, alumni, and community partners who make our mission possible.”
A special moment during the celebration was the presentation of a City of Boca Raton proclamation honoring Fuller Center for 55 years of extraordinary service to the community. The proclamation recognized the organization’s longstanding commitment to strengthening families and expanding educational opportunities for children throughout the region.
One of the most memorable highlights of the evening came from Fuller Center’s Snoopy VPK class, whose four-year-old students surprised guests with a joyful performance of “Happy Birthday” followed by the song “You Are Special.” The heartfelt performance brought smiles and applause from attendees.
Following their performance, the children personally visited each table, presenting every guest with a commemorative 55th anniversary lapel pin celebrating the organization. The touching moment served as a powerful reminder of the children and families at the heart of Fuller Center’s mission.
The February 27 celebration marks the beginning of a series of events and initiatives planned throughout 2026 to honor Fuller Center’s legacy while looking ahead to the next chapter of embracing, educating, and empowering children and families.
